Born into a family of musicians, Elsa Birgé began singing and circus arts at an early age. Become a trapezist professional, it occurs several years in different contexts, but returns to the music she considers to be her Real house. Strongly not belonging to a single world of music, she participates in a wide variety of projects. She is the singer of the band Odeia to which she brings her passion for world music, creates Comment ça va sur la Terre ?, poetic concert for young and old with Linda Edsjö and Michèle Buirette, and participates in the creation of Tony Hymas Chroniques de Resistance with Nathalie Richard, Frédéric Pierrot, François Corneloup, Journal Intime and other beautiful names of jazz. They were all the subject of a CD. She plays the role of Micaela in the rehabilitation of Carmen by the Orchestra di Piazza Vittorio, a co-production of the Festival des Nuits de Fourvière and the Opera de Saint-Étienne ; with which she toured in Europe and the World. For Radio France, she plays the first sung role of the Last Book of the Jungle, a concert-fiction produced by France Culture with the Orchestre Philharmonique and the Choeur de Radio France. Recently, with Linda Edsjö (duo Söta Sälta), she created J'ai tué l'amour and the young audience show Comme c'est étrange! (Grand Prix de l'Académie Carles Cros).
Recently, she has been involved in the creation of the Spat'sonore collective’s Des Madeleines dans la Galaxie and the family-friendly show Näcken. She is currently finishing work on the family-friendly show Pic-Pic with Nicolas Chedmail and the Ours repertoire with Rozenn Talec, Bruno Ducret, and Antonin-Tri Hoang.

As a child, she lent her voice to numerous CD-ROMs and records for her father, Jean-Jacques Birgé; in particular, at age 11, she sang the song “¡Vivan las utopias!” on the album Buenaventura Durrutti, released on the nato label.
