Etienne Mineur

Graduated from National School of Decorative Artsfrom Paris in 1992, he began his career in CD-ROM cultural. He is on this occasion artistic director at several major players in the field: Index+ (Co-founder with Emmanuel Olivier), Nofrontier (Austria), Hyptic (Paris).
Later, he worked as artistic director for Yves Saint Laurent (CD Rom on the work of Yves Saint Laurent), Gallimard (Cd-Rom on the work of Marcel Proust), Issey Miyake (website), Chanel (website) but also for Nokia (interface design) and foundation Cartier (exhibition catalogue). In 2009, he decided to return to the design related to physical objects. He foundedVolumewhich is a publishing house, but also a studio of invention, design and development of new types of games, toys and of books, based on the relationship between tangible and digital.
In 2020, he began to focus on new to Generative Artificial Intelligence and many courses and workshops in schools on this subject.

Starting in 1995, he collaborated with Jean-Jacques Birgé (CD-ROM At The Circus With Seurat, Carton, and the Europrix 98 project). As part of the Volumique label, Birgé composed the music for the Zéphyrs tablet apps and the game The World of Yo-Ho. Etienne Mineur designed several album covers for him (Long Time No Sea by El Strøm, La preuve by Poudingue, Centenaire de Jean-Jacques Birgé, Animal Opera, Pique-nique au labo 4...).
